- A megawatt hour (MWh) is equal to 1,000 kilowatt hours (kWh). It is equal to 1,000 kilowatts of electricity used continuously for one hour. This figure is expressed in accordance with the fund’s ownership percentage of the Lethbridge and Elmira biogas facilities (80%) and solar assets (85-100%).
