Cloudy skies, cooler temperatures and showers didn’t stop Skyline staff from serving a barbecue dinner to the dedicated volunteers of Onward Willow: Better Beginnings, Better Futures. The volunteer appreciation event, held on Thursday April 25th at Guelph’s Shelldale Community Centre with over 100 people in attendance, celebrated the achievements of the organization in supporting community life in the Willow Road area of Guelph.
Skyline, which owns buildings in this neighbourhood, has seen firsthand the great impact that Onward Willow’s programs have on the community, and was honoured to host the volunteer appreciation dinner for the third year in a row.
