Matt oversees Skyline’s Capital Expenditures (CAPEX) team, managing all aspects of capital improvement and development projects across Skyline’s residential, industrial, and retail portfolios. He is responsible for driving continual improvement and efficiencies in the delivery of capital projects and ensuring that Skyline’s capital spending and growth strategy are in alignment.
Matt began his career in England, where he spent 15 years in various construction management roles, delivering both new-build and renovation projects in the single-home, multi-residential, and commercial sectors. During this time, Matt worked on several notable projects, including the redevelopment of the former University of East London Barking campus, which created 1,055 new homes, and the redevelopment of Crayford Town Hall in the London Borough of Bexley.
After relocating to Canada in 2015, Matt spent several years working in construction project management in Toronto, before joining Skyline as a project manager in 2018. He was promoted to Vice President, Capital Expenditures in 2025.
With his keen eye for detail and commitment to quality, Matt ensures that every project his team completes meets the highest standards and is delivered with exceptional quality. His vast experience overseeing a wide range of construction projects, as well as his exceptional project management skills, make him a unique asset to Skyline.
Matt completed a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) in Construction Management through the National House Building Council (NHBC) in the United Kingdom.
