Skyline’s 2025 Spring Food Drive collects record 123,663 lbs. of food

[Guelph, Ontario – April 24, 2025]

Skyline’s 2025 Spring Food Drive brought in a record number of donations for people across Canada who are facing food insecurity and hardship.

and residential tenants collected a total of 49,261.56 lbs. in donations for food banks in communities across Canada and contributed another $12,570.31 in monetary donations to Food Banks Canada.

We matched this total with an additional $61,831.87 monetary donation to Food Banks Canada, leading to a grand total of 123,663.74 lbs (Skyline calculated $1 = 1 lb of food).

The Spring Food Drive, which is held annually over two weeks in April, is one of Skyline’s largest charitable fundraisers throughout the year. We are dedicated to effecting positive change and making a meaningful social impact in our communities, doing our part to help solve complex crises across Canada like food insecurity, housing insecurity, and mental health challenges.
