[Guelph, Ontario – September 12, 2024]

On September 12, 2024, Skyline Industrial REIT sold a non-core asset located at 549 Conestoga Boulevard in Cambridge, Ontario, further refining its industrial portfolio to enhance investor value.

The property comprises 96,495 square feet of industrial space and is currently occupied by Innovative Steam Technologies Inc.

“We were approached by the tenant to acquire the property given that their current under market lease was expiring in 2025. We were able to achieve the full value of the asset, based on potential market value, and maximize unitholder value,”” said Mike Bonneveld, President, Skyline Industrial REIT.

“We continue to see consistent demand for purpose-built warehousing and logistics spaces across Canada, and we look forward to further expanding and enhancing the portfolio with state-of-the-art industrial assets.”

Funds surfaced from the sale of this asset will be used to further reduce the line of credit and for general corporate purposes to ensure maximum value for Skyline Industrial REIT investors.
