March is Red Cross month, and Skyline is proud to announce that it has partnered with the Canadian Red Cross through the Disaster Response Alliance (DRA) to provide proactive disaster relief support to communities across Canada.

As a company that operates across Canada and a regional supporter of the DRA, Skyline will provide support to the Canadian Red Cross as it expands its capacity to respond to disasters and help more Canadians in need. The DRA unites Canadian companies committed to investing in disaster relief, helping the Canadian Red Cross to have supplies ready, and prepare disaster response teams and systems across the country.

“Times of crisis test us, but they can also bring us together. Skyliners have a proud history of working side by side to support Red Cross disaster response teams,” said Jason Ashdown, Co-Founder and Chief Sustainability Officer, Skyline. “By formally partnering with the Canadian Red Cross and supporting its efforts to proactively prepare for emergencies, we are investing in the safety of Canadians and the continued resilience of our assets and investments across Canada.”

From floods in British Columbia, to fires in Atlantic Canada, Skyline has previously supported Red Cross disaster relief efforts across Canada with financial donations to assist with immediate and ongoing relief, recovery, and resilience efforts.

Beyond the DRA, Skyline employees will also have exclusive opportunities to volunteer with the Canadian Red Cross throughout the year.

The Canadian Red Cross is part of the world’s largest humanitarian network. Through this vast network and partnerships with Canadian companies, the Red Cross reaches millions of people with urgent help each year.
