These properties added a variety of new national brand name tenants to the REIT, including Dairy Queen, Harveys and Starbucks. The REIT also entered three new communities: Port Elgin, St. Mary’s, and Alliston.
The total purchase price of the portfolio was $64.25 million, and the portfolio added an additional 271,851 square feet of commercial space to the Retail REIT.
The Skyline Retail REIT currently comprises 28 properties in 18 Ontario communities, with 876,013 square feet of commercial space.
