On September 7th, 2016, the Skyline Retail REIT purchased at 21,820 square foot property in Hanmer (Sudbury), Ontario. The property at 5118 Highway 69 North is the second property Skyline Retail REIT owns in Sudbury, and has McDonald's and Shoppers Drug Mart as anchor tenants. The property was purchased for $8 million.
Skyline Retail REIT Acquires Additional Chatham, Ontario Property
On June 2nd, 2016, the Skyline Retail REIT acquired a multi-tenant retail plaza property at 515-653 Grand Avenue West in Chatham, Ontario. Purchased for $25M, the plaza consists of 177,366 square feet of retail space, and includes Canadian Tire, Scotiabank and SportChek as anchor tenants.

On Thursday, December 10th, 2015, the Skyline Retail REIT entered its 34th community: the city of Sarnia, Ontario. The Retail REIT acquired a 21,802 square foot property at 1378-1386 Exmouth Street, with Best Buy and A&W serving as anchor tenants. The property was purchased for $5.52 million.

The Skyline Retail REIT just announced a 15% increase in the value of its Unit Price from $10.00 to $11.50 per Unit, and a 12.5% increase in the annual Distribution rate from $0.80 to $0.90 per Unit.

On Friday, September 18th, 2015, the Skyline Retail REIT purchased its second property in Windsor, Ontario, at 4140-4150 Walker Road. The property's anchor tenants are Dollar Tree and Canadian Tire. The property was purchased for $8.4 million and has 21,916 square feet of retail commercial space.
Skyline Retail REIT Acquires its First Property in Listowel, Ontario
On Friday, July 31st, 2015, the Skyline Retail REIT acquired its first property in the town of Listowel, Ontario. The property at 210 Wallace Avenue North was purchased for $6.35M and includes 13,514 square feet of commercial space, with Shoppers Drug Mart as the tenant.
Skyline Retail REIT Purchases Additional Port Elgin, Ontario Property
On Wednesday, April 13th, 2015, the Skyline Retail REIT purchased its second property in the town of Port Elgin, Ontario. The property at 260 Goderich Street features a Dollar Tree, Harvey's, Swiss Chalet, and a children's play centre. The property comprises 14,725 square feet of retail commercial space, and had a total purchase price of $3.1 million.
Skyline Retail REIT Purchases Goodlife Fitness Portfolio, Enters 6 New Ontario Communities!
On Monday, December 1, 2014, Skyline Retail REIT purchased a 6-property portfolio comprised of Goodlife Fitness Centers across Ontario. In doing so, it entered six new Ontario communities, many of which are already home to Skyline Apartment REIT and Skyline Industrial REIT properties.
